Hey Folks,
It's 94 degress and just thinking about snow is coolling me off. Just got back from my weekly trip to Whitetail to do some organizational things. Here's an update of the construction:
Excavation of the new Ledgewood Trail is nearing completion. The snow making water pipes and the snow guns are were due to arrive today (August 19th). The crew will begin to install the pipes and the guns and the lighting the first of September with a goal to be finished by November 1st.
The Market Place remodeling project looks great with the new bakery. It's beginning to look more like a food court than a cafeteria. It's on schedule to be completed September 4th.
The new 4,500 square foot paved deck and grill is slated to be finished by September 4th, too. It will have radiant heat underneath so that there should be very little ice and snow build up. The crew was beginning to construct the new grill and they have marked out where the fire pit will be built. Again, the plan is for the grill to be open on a more regular basis and will honor employee discounts.
The mixing bowl/base area is being regraded and drainage is being installed to prevent the pooling of water, due to the melting snow, around the deck area.
Remember that ski season is just a few months away so be thinking about getting OEC refreshed and making sure that you're equipment is in order.
